Anyone know good riding school in Chelmsford?
Whiteybaby · 22/02/2010 10:03
My gd is mad keen on riding and I would like to get her some lessons for her 5th birthday in may. Anyone got any reccomendations for yards in Chelmsford? I've had a quick look at BHS but difficult to know what each one like. I'm not keen to spend a fortune on the smartest yard but would like somewhere encouraging and friendly and suited to young starters. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful!

what is plan B? you could try the H&H boards
or just schlep round all the schools in your area until you find one you like the feel of?

PLan B is to ask dgd's mum I guess(that's d god d by the way not d grand d!!). We don't live over there so not going to be able to go round. I looked at BHS website but so difficult to get idea of what places are like. Just wondered if anyone might be based in Chelmsford and might now of a place. Never mind it was worth a try! Jackspratt thanks its prob going to be a little way away but appreciate your reply!

Yes I can second Runningwell. Not the cheapest but safe yard and good facilities.
