Just heard Dick Francis has died

Such sad news. He was a lovely man and a brilliant writer. Christmas won't be the same without his latest book to look forward to.
RIP Dick.

Haven't read one of his books for years now but remember them as being real page turners.

could just lose myself in one of his books today - like Owls has been a while since I read one

thanks for all those books Dick, wonder if Heaven will be a bit like Newmarket for him?
