first show of the yr

we are off to the first show of the yr on sunday, i am gogin as cheif coffe maker as still in rather fragile health ( open wounds etc make running alonside pony tricky) but dd2 is riding a L/r darty for someone else, DGd ( darling goddaughter)riding noddy in l/r, other dgd riding in l/r and dd1 riding her loan pony in veteran class. first dgd also doing first ridden on her pony. I cannot wait to see all the girls decked out in their show stuff ( though has necessitated frantic trawl of internet and shops to get it together) .

Waiting for updates Mummydoc! We've given sec As bib clips this weekend and are slowly getting them back into work - even had our first show lesson of the season. Hope to be out sometime in March the way things are going.

what are your plans/ambitions for this year Butkin?

show report :

DD1 got second out of class of 9 in veterans , she was only child and pony combo and did it by herslef off lead rein. she was wearing blue tweed jkt and navey/white spot tie and blue hair ribbons
dgd1 got second in l/r on noddy thus qualifying him for royal london and swpa champs.
dgd2 got 5th in l/r
dd2 got 6th in l/r she has brownish tweed jkt with overcheck in subtle darkish purple she had purple tie with gold stars and purple hair ribbons and,her leader had matching shirt and tie. it was first show for this pony he is only4 and his owner had never led in a show before. they made a grat team, infact we could hear them laughing all the way round. they were thrilled to be 6th out of 10.

dgd1 got second in first ridden out of class of 9

we all went home knackered but thrilled.

thanks i am still chuffed to bits . boob update : have tracking sinuses , packing in both for time being, probably more surgery at easter, still got awfully painful but actuall yin a funny way i am just getting used ot it all. still cannot run, but one day will be better and able to do pony stuff and buy nice bras!
