Boots digging into ankles...any ideas?

My riding boots have quite a high ankle reinforcement, and it's digging in and really hurting my ankle - pushing up from under it iyswim...maybe I have low ankles anyway I wondered if anyone else had this and had a solution.

They are Toggi ones btw.

I have Mountain Horse High Rider boots and they dug into my ankles a bit when I first tried them on, but they came with a set of heel risers (small green wedge shaped things you pop into the bottom of the boot), so I put these in and even though they are only a few mm thick they made just the right amount of difference.
I think you can buy them indiviually too... Ahhh, here's some...
