Here we go again, the taps and pipes are frozen already and no wellies needed today as the ground is rock-hard. Will it snow do you think?
Our hay delivery was late (of course) so lots of waiting around in the freezing cold and (also of course) dhorse has chosen today to break the buckle on his rug. To add insult to injury I had my eye on one in the Robinson's sale but when I wanted to order it yesterday my mum said we couldn't put him in pink (she does own half of him!) and now it's out of stock . He's got his bright red one on now and looks very cosy and christmassy!

I'm tempted to hibernate though.

snow here today! really makes the cold bearable, although am sick of skidding on concealed puddles of ice

rain has washed most of it away but plenty more to come tomorrow, Friday and CHRISTMAS EVE

might have to risk the withers and rug Barney up at least when he is out during the day?

MitchyInge · 16/12/2009 22:09

have you gone into hibernation then?

Am almost jealous of your frozen ankle breaking ground. Cold here but so wet the fields are just mud baths.

Rugs are now sodden through and muddy. Oooh, another thought for the Christmas Wish List. A clean rug delivered each morning and taken away each night. Bliss.

I tried Mitchy, but my family won't let me. They keep wanting to be fed and stuff.

Owls, we had ankle-deep squidgy mud only yesterday, so you too might have rock-hard ground by tomorrow. I must say, dhorse looked very clean today!
