Mummydoc, you have to do the dashes around each word separately. Although you are probably right, Mumsnet is watching you .

Korma, no think of it as a loan. Well, I'm hoping it's a long term loan or however long you need. If I'm begging for it back after a week then it probably isn't working!

I'll cat you my email.

Owls, had a quick ride round the block today, in between showers! It was great, still nervous but managed to stay relaxed and actually enjoyed it. It was only 10 mins walking but I would have been happy to go further, a big improvement on my usual relief that I've made it back alive .

I'm going to do this really gradually and not push my luck as I'm so desperate for it to work but I'm feeling very hopeful.

Pixel, that is brilliant! It's weird isn't it but I'm actually looking forward to going out now instead of wanting to but dreading it at the same time.

Korma, the only thing I know both Pixel and I have both struggled with is how sodding difficult it is to get an hour to lie down in a darkened room with no disturbances! Doesn't sound like a lot to ask does it but grrrr..... barking dogs, parcel deliveries, etc.

Well you are supposed to listen to it every day for the first week. Hotel seems a bit excessive...

DD supposed to be going to Pony Club jumping in Newmarket tonight - hope that the wind subsides or will be too dangerous to tow the trailer.

She is so looking forward to it and trying to persuade us to put a brow band on in pony club colours (which she found in an old trunk).

mummydoc · 18/11/2009 12:52

butkin the browband sounds so sweet. my dd2 was extreamly taken by all the fancy browbands we saw on ponies at a big show in chepstow in the summer. it was her first ever show and she was being a borrowed jockey in the m+m LR , i have since learnt how wrong it is to have fancy browbands on m+m but loads of people were using them and htis was a big show. dd2 still harping on about wanting one for new pony ...preferably with diamante crystals aswell !!!

MitchyInge · 18/11/2009 18:06

good luck tonight Butkin, if you made it!

Hi Mummydoc - yes plain browbands for M&M showing and hunting - hence her demand to change for ponyclub (she got her way....)

Mitchy, we got there and only 4 in her ride -she was the youngest (there were two 8yos and a 7yo).

Tonights theme was snakes and ladders. We put 4 fences up in a line down the middle of the school - originally x poles but later uprights. They then had to do serpentines down the school in between the jumps until coming straight up the "ladder".

They started doing it by one at a time and then they did it following each other. All worked pretty well until the lead girl's pony stopped for a poo at the 2nd jump and they all piled into the back of her! At times it reminded me of going to watch figure of 8 racing at the stock cars when I was young...

hahaha! that must have been fun, any chance of seeing it on youtube?
