I think I might actually be going! Will be rooting for Goose (Shilstone Rocks Snow Goose) on Monday.

Excellent - we'll watch out for "Goose" as well. Not sure who we want to win but probably the Roan Sec B, Muskerry Blue Danube, if he has qualified. Do you know where there is a list of qualified ponies - doesn't seem to be on either the Olympia or NPS websites.

I'll ask today, someone might know.

We are going on the Friday afternoon. DS is well excited, and has been pretending to be a Police horse for the last 3 days..

mummydoc · 19/11/2009 15:19

i am thinking of going on friday , how do you find out when the different classes are on, ?

Pixel · 19/11/2009 15:22

I was thinking of seeing what tickets are left as dd's school has just suddenly announced two extra inset days at the end of term.

Pixel · 19/11/2009 15:27

Mummydoc, I have a flyer here that was in a horsey mag. For Friday it says:-
Morning - Accenture young show jumper of the year warm up. Afternoon - The Kennel Club medium dog jumping Grand Prix, Jean-Francois Pignon and his astounding white horses, Shetland pony grand national, Metropolitan police musical ride, Interval, Christmas pudding stakes, Finale. Evening is the same except the jumping after the interval is The christmas stakes. HTH.

Pixel · 19/11/2009 15:28

Oh sorry, forgot Accenture young show jumper of the year is before the Kennel club. Argh and it's Christmas Cracker, not Christmas pudding stakes, I was copying the wrong bit.

Pixel · 19/11/2009 15:30

Sorry, sorry, I'm trying to be helpful but just making things worse. NOT Christmas stakes it's the PUISSANCE in the evening. Tell you what here's the website

mummydoc · 19/11/2009 21:00

This takes me back - I used to drag my reluctant parents along to this every year. Just thinking about Olympia makes me feel all christmassy.

sykes · 19/11/2009 23:16

I still don't like the puissance. Too horrid, A bit like the Grand NationAL.
