Having had laminitic ponies in the past, another way of making their hay last is to use 2 very small holed haynets, one inside the other and soak hay for about an hour. I am so glad i have skinny TB's now!!

just an update - he has made a complete and full recovery, and is long reining nicely, and going away to be backed on the 3rd of August
