so cute! well done your dd

horsemadgal · 16/01/2009 13:36

Awwww that is fantastic, didn't she do really well.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 16/01/2009 13:37

How lovely!

Where abouts do you live? We're in South Wales and ds1 (3 and 3 months) has been asking to go horseriding. Lots of centres round here don't seem to start until they're 4 though

horsemadgal · 16/01/2009 13:39

Ours doesn't let them start until age 5, it's to do with the insurance they say.

hambo · 16/01/2009 13:41

My wee boy started at 2!!
(Scotland)

Not as good as little Astrid though!

Butkin · 16/01/2009 13:59

Well done Astrid! Looks like you are doomed now...

You'll be amazed by how quickly the improve if they start at that age. Let's hope she is as enthusiastic about mucking out!

Nekabu · 16/01/2009 14:39

Didn't she do well with her trot! Looks like she enjoyed herself and that pony was cute as ... ;)

Habbibu · 16/01/2009 14:46

Oh Swedes! She's gorgeous, and did so well! Can't wait to take dd - when's the best age to start?

SwedesInACape · 16/01/2009 15:01

We live in Herts and a couple of the local stables take them at 3. She is very keen to go again so I think we will let her have one lesson a month. Then perhaps a bit moe frequently in the summer months.

Didn't she look like a natural! (and she's gorgeous!!). Can't wait to get my DS in the saddle

Pixel · 16/01/2009 16:10

What a little sweetie . Obviously a born horsewoman.

ramonaquimby · 16/01/2009 16:12

what a gorgeous name, love it.

Lemontart · 16/01/2009 16:13

aaaaw very cute. She seemed very relaxed and happy in the saddle - I have a feeling her new hobby is gonna get expensive

mysterymoniker · 16/01/2009 19:43

yes definitely a natural

and she has made me BROODY - yikes!

Macdog · 16/01/2009 19:46

She's gorgeous..well done her!!

dizzydixies · 16/01/2009 19:47

oohh lovely!

DD1 started this year, ours wouldn't take them for lessons till they were 5

its frightening amounts of money though - she got jodpurs from santa who got them in Tesco thought

lunavix · 24/01/2009 21:56

oh god
dd would love this, can I dare ask how much it is?
