Yard Boot recommendations please

I need to get a pair of yard boots and have totally overwhelmed myself looking online!!
I’ve returned to riding after a 30 year break and always used to wear wellies or mukkas when I had horses before - there was a lot less choice then lol!
I don’t need them to ride in as I have long leather boots, so it’s just mucking out and taking the horses up the field.
I’ve got narrow feet (only narrow part of me!!)
Can you tell me what works for you and recommendations please? Budget is under £100 - thank you 😊

For me wellies in the winter is the only thing that makes sense with the mud! I usually go for something not the cheapest, but not super expensive - usually seems to be a more or less emergency purchase when an old pair gets a hole!

In the summer I usually wear either jodphur boots that I’d then hack it or these https://www.ariat.com/gb/en/WEXFORD_H2O_W_FOO.html but alarmingly i see they’re now £170. Mine are quite old now purchased when my daughter was in pony club and I needed a ‘hanging out with horses all day’ footwear option and they have fallen into the every day role but while lovely boots probably not want you want just for the yard and unless you’d wear them other times as well.

Thank you @Greentick123 that’s super helpful. I do love a pair of wellies but seem to go through them super quick with dog walks. But maybe I just need to regularly buy cheap dunlops and stick on a pair of thick socks.

Those Ariat boots are absolutely gorgeous!! But not sure I can justify £170 lol will put them on the wish list!!

Wellies all the way for me in winter. I have a pair of Le Chameaus that an old client gave me and honestly I know they are insanely pricey but I've had mine for 6 years. They've survived me wearing them for hours every single day in the winter and still keep my feet warm and dry.
If and when they finally give up I'll fork out the money for a new pair - I was buying a £100 pair every year before these!

Thanks @renovationqueenkeeping my feet warm and dry is definitely a priority!! Will start a welly search and maybe need to up my budget Grin

I have a pair of the muck boots (with the comfy and hay proof neoprene top). They are the comfiest wellies I’ve worn, I’m happy to dog walk etc in them as well as yard work.

I have been eyeing up a pair of these too

I got some of these last year and they're great year round but keep you warm in winter too. Decent grip for the mud and a good price too.

I treated myself to a pair of Ariat Terrain zip boots. Yes they are spendy but they are so blinking comfortable. I’m a narrow foot so went down a half size. Plus, you can ride in them.

When the heavy mud comes I’ll swap to wellies but honestly these have been worn and worn and they still look great so I’ll be in them as long as I can.

I’m also curious about the bareback ones - their spiel is good but would like to hear from someone who has them

I've got these and they're SO comfy. I ride in them too.

A friend on my yard has a pair of the long bareback boots and says they are amazingly comfy, but I’ve not tried some myself.
