Got a new connie from Ireland a few weeks ago and this eve spotted this mark...please tell me its not ringworm and is just a rub or something (will be calling vet tmrw either way. Just overthinking!)

What is this..?

Is it just that one mark? There’s usually more than one with ringworm but it could be the start .. it’s incredibly contagious so probably best to be extra careful about hygiene until your vet sees it

I would treat it as ringworm until told otherwise. Keep horse and its things separate from others. Wash hands thoroughly after touching etc.

Yes just the one, checked him all over again today and nothing else at the min..
I've ramped up the stables germ control, vet out later this week anyway so can get it checked if its not gone by then.

As someone who has just tackled ringworm, that looks more like a sweat rub from a headcollar or bridle

I agree with the above - try washing it, and look at the browband or headpiece construction/position.

The circular marks?
It looks to me like a mark from a fastening or rivet from a headpiece .
Did he have a bridle or head collar with a metal stud or river there ?

Could be an old scar/healed wound? I don’t think it looks like ringworm but be cautious until you can be sure
