Hickstead International Horse Show

Hi, I'm mum to a horse mad girl. We've never been to Hickstead, in fact she hasn't been to any horseshow. Anyone have any useful advice on which day to go when we can see pony and young riders events? I've had a look at the schedule and I'm completely confused. Are the weekend days really really busy? Thanks for any pearls of wisdom.

So the pony classes you want to look for 128/138/148 classes - this is the height of the pony. Weekends busy but not unmanageably so IME. It’s a big show ground so easy to spread out

My daughter will be jumping there (bar any unforeseen disasters which seem to follow us the past year and a half 😬).

It's a beautiful show ground! You will love it!

Also, highly recommend taking your daughter to the London International Horse Show in December. It's our favourite show of the year!
