Body protector - 10 yr old girl

Hello,

I am looking for recommendations for a good body protector for my 10yr old daughter.

She has had a basic Decathlon one for the last year, and thankfully no falls, but it’s quite heavy and getting a bit small. We live overseas and I’d love something that’s a bit cooler for her too as we are in a hot climate.

I don’t really know where to start, her friend has an inflatable but they seem costly and I have read are meant for wear on top of a regular protector??

Can anyone please suggest good brands or models that meet the safety standards?

TIA

We have racesafe and champion TI and both are excellent 👌 adjustable and varied sizes. Unfortunately my kids are the same size so I have to buy two rather than passing down!

DD has had 2 Champion Ti body protectors and they’ve been excellent. The child sizes aren’t too expensive but make sure to get properly fitted, we resold DD’s on to make the cost of the next one slightly easier. DD says they fit well and are comfortable.

The new racesafe are very light and comfortable according to dd - she hated wearing her old one but doesn’t mind wearing her new one at all - much less sweaty!

My 8 year old has a racesafe, we had it fitted at a store and even though this was an expensive buy, I’m so glad we did as her sizing was very particular (she’s tall but very very slim). It’s very light compared to the other options that were available when we tried on.

she wears it under her coat but on top of her base layer/t shirt.
