Good quality high-waisted jodphurs

Can any of you lovely and very knowledgable people please recommend me some good-quality, thick and stretchy high-waisted jodhpurs or riding tights?

I’ve recently got back into riding after a long break and am having fortnightly lessons plus the odd hack.

The cheap pair of jods I bought from Vinted got caught on a nail yesterday so now have a giant hole right across the the right arse-cheek 🙄 I’d rather spend good money on a decent replacement that will last. I’d like something akin to the thick, stretchy navy Harry halls had as a kid.

For context I am a size 14 (small 16 in some brands), 5 ft 11, athletic build with a long waist. And yes, I’m under the 14st weight limit for the school before anyone asks!

thanks in advance 😉

These are my favourites www.agaso.co.uk/shop-online Hardwearing, very comfortable and wash very well. I wear mine everyday (various pairs) so I justify the cost as “price per wear”😁

thanks all. Do most equestrian brands run true to size or are some smaller-fit than others? Grateful for the suggestions here as a starting point.

I was size 14,/16. I went for 16 in countrydale and found them really comfy. Ive lost weight now and although the legs are really baggy they are still comfy on my waist.
