Equidry alternative

Just wondering if there is a cheaper alternative to equidry coats, i've seen some dry robes by regatta which are a good price but dont know if they would stand up to wet muddy days at the stables.

Equidry do seem expensive and I don’t know about alternatives on the market but I think if you can stretch to it at all they are the best ones. They last a long time too. Both my daughter and I have one and they are great for riding in and for being around the yard.

My equidry is worth every penny.

I agree. An investment .

Depends if you want to ride in it.

There's plenty of cheaper alternatives but they won't have the 2 way zip that means you can ride in it. If you don't want to ride in it then prob avoid equidry as the zip is the vulnerable part that tends to break (although they do repair & replace the zip for a reasonable charge)

Check for the waterproof rating - equidry are waterproof but alot of cheaper alternatives are 'water resistant' so won't stand up to heavy rain or being out in rain for several hours. The material quality is also important - a 1200 denier will be tougher than 600 for example but will be more expensive.

I've got 2 equidrys & a reincoat & really rate them.

I did a lot of research and eventually decided to get a reincoat. I don’t think they’re any cheaper but they have sales fairly often
