Le Mieux Vector Stirrups

I’m about to buy my first set of stirrups, for use at my riding school lessons (at their suggestion). I’m going for the vector ones, through recommendation from another rider and also online reviews. Does anyone on here have them? I think that two options are the flat ones (for flat work) or the 5 degree footbed ones (for jumping but also if you have injuries etc). Any experiences welcome! Thanks

I have the flat ones (recommended by the saddler) - I like them - they’re very comfortable, they help keep my lower leg in a good position, they’re a nice weight and easy to find if you lose a stirrup for any reason.

Thanks very much @Pleasedontdothat 🙂

I have the 5 degree ones, and I really like them. I wanted something that would help stabilise my leg position, and especially to keep my heels down. They certainly make me feel more secure in the saddle and find them very comfortable.

Thanks @HelinaHandbasket - do you use them for flat work? I think my fellow rider who recommended them has the angled ones too as she mentioned the angle.

I use angled stirrups for flat work. I have techs.

@Lovemycat2023 I use them for flat work, and for hacking. I find them really comfortable.
