Help - what boots are good for a 8 year old ?

I am not a horse mum at all I'm completely clueless . My 8 year old has taken up horse riding ( lessons at the country club ) we dont have or plan on buying a horse but will continue the lessons for fun . She has asked for boots for her birthday, what would yous recommend?

Jodhpurs boots and half chaps is the way to go .

Take her to a tack shop and get her to try on several. Let her see which are the most comfortable. The sizing may be different to her normal shoes.
