Calypso or Katinka?

I think Katinka would be shortened to Cat or Tinka, and calling a TB mare anything that encourages Cat like behaviour or to be a tinker should be avoided imo. It would be like calling her Diva, you kind of get what you ask for!

I think Calypso becomes Cally, which sounds nice and soft and kind.

But I have no evidence to back this up obviously. It might go the other way, like Prudence being really reckless, or Chastity being..well, you see what I mean.

I know if a cat called Prudence who is anything but!
