Hi,

I havent visited Hickstead grounds before and was wondering if anybody has any suggestions - Google says it’s located near Gatwick and Brighton. If I were to stay over which area would you recommend and what sort of dresscode is it please? Any useful tips for the day would be great.

When I last went I stayed in a cheap and cheerful premier inn in Hayward’s Heath.
If I remember rightly there is a dress code for the members area which is smart casual, but the normal areas are anything goes, the last time I went it was ROASTING and most people were just in shorts and vest tops.

I've only ever been with horses and slept in my lorry, but i think Haywards Heath is quite popular
