Horse Hair help

Hello, my daughter now spends every weekend at the stables helping including grooming the horses. Now what do i do about all the horse hair, she comes home covered in white horse hair, all over her clothes, my car but most problematic the washing machine. Help! Do i use the dog hair sticky things in washing machine. our dog doesnt shed so not used them or whats the trick?? I cant be covered in white horse hair and all my washing forever more! TIA

I posted the same question last week! I'm sick of my washing being blocked. Net laundry bags was the answer.

Someone posted similar recently in the tack room I think (if you want to take a look) but you can buy bags from amazon that you put hairy clothing and pet bedding in when you put them in the machine. If you put in green pet laundry bag into amazon search this is the one I have and it's great.

Laundry bag + wear overalls (farmer style ones).

They are at DDs yard because we get them the John Deere ones 🤣

My old horse was EXTREMELY hairy! When I washed his saddle pads I had to wait for the washing machine drum to dry & then I'd hoover all the hairs out 😂 Laundry bags did not occur to me 🤦🏻‍♀️

I didn't like the laundry bags. Sure, they washed the clothes and kept the hair away from the machine, but my clothes were still covered in hair!!!
(2 grey horses, so Lots of white hair every moulting season!!!)

A friend swears by Vamoosh “pet hair dissolver”. You put a sachet in the wash and it apparently dissolves pet hair

If its any help it is coat shedding season (moving from winter to summer coat) so they are shedding alot at the moment and will reduce a bit in time... until the next coat comes in ...

I use laundry bags - but in an ideal world - a separate washing machine, just for horse/pet stuff
