Build your own bridle help

Highland cross gypsy cob needs a bridle but it’s got to be mix and match sizing. I’ve tried horse and cob and parts of each fit her though I think we might need pony cheek pieces 🙈 Obviously it all needs to match but I would like to build one/have it fitted. Want a brown, flat hunter style super comfy and ok for showing. What’s the best most practical way of going about this? Picture of her in an ill fitting cob bridle. TIA

Have a look at Henry James saddlery. You can order each piece on its own.

We have a shires velocity, like most shires products it's a decent quality copy of far pricier products, very affordable . Initially bought the cob sized bridle and had to swap the browband to full. Bridle is an ok fit but am wondering if ideally we need a full size headpiece and pony cheek pieces to balance. All the parts are available separately. I have the hunter bridle which is very smart but currently changed to a grackle noseband which just fits his fat nose. 😅. I think the full might come down too low

It's many years since I bought a bridle but when I did want one I had a similar problem, native head with odd sizing. I'm not sure if they still sell this but at that time Mole Valley sold pieces of bridles (the make was Wyvern). I think I ended up with f/s headpiece, pony cheeks, f/s browband and cob noseband. It was lovely leather and all matching. The noseband was particularly nice as it had a broad flat nosepiece with no flash attachment, just what I wanted.
