stirrup recommendations

Hi does anyone have any recommendations for stirrups that have a good safety release? I have ordered some Acavallo and then saw a Tik tok this morning of someone using these and their foot getting stuck when they fell. Budget up to £140ish. Thank you

I use these https://www.bettersaddles.co.uk/shop/safestyle-stirrups and bow balance sprenger ones (have come off a few times in these and have never got caught, indeed a friend had a horrendous fall on my horse who rotated on landing and no problems with the stirrups).

My personal feeling is that stirrups should have some weight to them to allow gravity to assist when falling off. I’m not sure about these new quick release stirrups - know a couple of people who have got caught. I’m quite happy to be old fashioned.

I forgot about sprenger bow balance. A previous horse share had these on the saddle and they were great. I might look at those! Thank you

I have the Jin Air safety stirrups and they got a fair bit of testing when my mare had a 3 month bout of the “Kevin’s” when she turned 5!

Sprenger bow balance stirrups are excellent. My daughter's trainer recommended them for her. I tried them and immediately bought myself a pair. Find them second hand on Ebay to save some £.

My daughter has the lemieux vector stirrups which have been great with her very quirky Welsh.

We bought them when she admitted her biggest fear was being dragged
