Can anyone recommend a bareback pad?

DD has asked for one for Christmas.

I’ve had a look online and am a bit bamboozled.

She doesn’t think she wants one with stirrups - she’s got a disability which affects her lower leg/feet sometimes so struggles to turn her foot into them - which is when she usually hops on bareback, but finds it quite uncomfortable

I don’t want to spend a huge fortune as I’m not sure how much of a 5 minute wonder it will be.

Thanks!

CormoranStrikeIsBloodyLovely does mention the Shires Aviemore pad on this thread. 🙂

I have a christ lammfelle bareback pad and it is absolutely fantastic. Not cheap but such good quality and can obviously go on any horse/pony unlike a traditional saddle. I’m not sure there is much point buying a very cheap one as it won’t be much different to riding bareback.

I have a best friends bareback pad - basic but comfy and does the job. I ride it in occasionally when i cant be bothered with tack

I would stear clear of any barebacks with stirrups - a nightmate for pressure points
