Muddy pony competition...

Hi all,

As we are all sick to death of aware - it has literally not stopped raining for what feels like 8 years now.

All of our paddocks have ensuite hydrotherapy pools and state of the art mud bath facilities....

Therefore, In the spirit of winter horse ownership and all its joys... Please share photos of your disgustingly muddy beasts in solidarity.

I have cheated a bit as the first photo was actually from January this year.

The second photo is now (same pony bur fatter, featherless and rugged up to her eyeballs much to her disgust - see picture 3) and i am fighting tooth and nail to hold onto the last bits of white fur....

I can't! Little welshie has gone to her new home, and new pony is such a precious princess, he tiptoes through the mud like he just had his nails done, and in his brand new rugs I can tell he has barely rolled in 3 weeks! It's a revelation. But you have my sympathy and empathy from earlier ponies, plus the other two I turn out for friends have rugs that are already completely crusted with mud, so when I rug change for them in the morning, I look almost as muddy as your pics here!

Yes I despair. Pics of clean pony and the little git after rolling like a hippopotamus!
