Burghley - parking

I'm looking for some advice from anyone who has managed to sort out the Landrover parking at Burghley please. I have never succeeded in finding how to get into it and get funnelled into the regular carparks. Is there anyone prepared to share the secret?? My bloody Landy costs me a fortune, the least it could do is get me into the nearer carpark!

At Blair this weekend it was signposted but it's probably easy to miss, I only saw one sign . Be vigilant!

Can you ask the parking stewards? Is there anything online about which gate to use? Message their fb page?

I went one year when it was a washout.

The 4x4s were very obviously being channelled into particular car parks as they were the only vehicles that could cope with the mud.

Unfortunately I got sent in with my Rav4, I'd never even touched the 4x4 button, nearly a disaster.

Not convinced I'd recommend this as a strategy though, the whole place was knee deep in mud and freezing cold.

Thanks all. Clever DD1 has found a map that suggests we need to use the Jacobs Ladder gate. Further googling has also suggested we need to get there early as it fills up quickly! Fingers crossed...
