Body protector

After some advice on what to with an old protector. It's an adult race safe one, barely used in great condition. I no longer ride so have no need for it, so would like to sell it. The only issue is its Beta 2000, which I know isn't accepted for BE etc. But do you think anyone would be interested? Maybe for hacking etc, was contemplating sticking it on ebay for £10. Just not sure, and seems a shame to bin it when it's still in perfectly good condition. Thanks in advance.

I sold an old body protector dd had grown out of on eBay - I made it clear it wasn’t the most up to date standard but as it was outgrown not worn out it had plenty of life left in it still.

They are still within standard til the end of the year. If cheap enough people might buy to tide over. I've just sold mine, advertised it for £50 and was bombarded so could have probably got more. The person who bought it wanted it it just for xc schooling not competing

I'd try for marketplace first, much less faff. Mine sold within an hour

Market place is a good idea too.

A lot of people have no idea about the standards of BPs or hats and aren't intending to compete, take part in riding club or pony club activities so probably wouldn't care, so long as it is undamaged and reasonably priced!

I have seen the older ones still going for a decent amount. Search on eBay and then select ‘sold’ and you can see what they have sold for recently
