Going to see a TB with view to full loaning. Been a while since I've owned. What's the usual prices for vaccinations, shoes, dentist etc nowadays?

Depends where you are in the country but I’d say roughly

vaccinations - £60 plus call out
shoes - £90 full set, £50 fronts or £30 for a trim
dentist - £60
feed has gone up a lot recently, my bag of chaff was £10 2 years ago, now it’s £15.

I’d say similar to buckingmad.
Also echo that food, and bedding has gone through the roof. The price of shavings these days!!

My TB costs me:
Vaccs: £30 + call out fee
Feed: used to be £30 per month, is now £100 per month
Dentist: 70 once a year
Physio: 65-75 every 4 months
Saddle fitter: 75 every 4-6 months
Farrier : 85 every 6 weeks
Insurance: will depend on previous health history + any exclusion
Shavings: 8-10 per bag and need 2 bags per week in winter
Hay: don't even ask! Even if you can get hold of any decent stuff you wont be able to afford it!!

Even though you are only look at loaning I would still get a pre-purchase vet check to ensure you aren't taking on any issues (especially with a TB!!).

I've just paid 55 for dentist but the actual rasping was covered on the vet pet plan so that was just for call out and sedation.

Vaccinations about £80 I think inc call out

Atm paying 25 for trims but he needs shoes soon which will be 70 (it's a bit cheaper then norm as we have lots of horses done at once I think)

Insurance varies wildly but look at ball park 60ish as a starting point then add any ailments, age etc

Saddle fitter 60, more if adjusting needs done

Feed - going up by the day, our balancer was £38 in December is now £45
