Having a 30 minute private lesson tomorrow. Not ridden for a few years. I'm so nervous! Hoping I get put on something safe but not a plod. Hope I'm not walking like John Wayne afterwards 🤣

Good luck! I hope you enjoy it. I've just started riding again after a break of 20 odd years. I've had a few aches, especially today after cantering yesterday, but they haven't been too bad. I hope you have a great lesson!

Think my last ride was 5 years ago! I'm dreading the aching 🤣

A warm bath and massage your legs afterwards. I tried to cross my legs at one point today when I sat down and I had to pick my thigh up with my hands to do it. My leg just didn't want to move 😂

I had a lesson yesterday after 5 years out of the saddle.
I'm achy in my inner thighs today but nothing too bad!
Enjoy!

How did it go OP? How are your legs today? Hope you enjoyed!

Legs were OK yesterday, agony today! I felt sick towards the end of the lesson because I'm so unfit.

Glad it went OK. And you're not alone in feeling like you could throw up. Halfway through my second lesson I nearly vomited. I had to walk around for five minutes to stop myself from puking my guts up over the horse (it would have wrecked her long swishy mane)

Day 2 pain is definitely the worst. I always think the next day I've got off lightly only to be proved wrong on the next one 😆
