LeMieux women’s sizing

Anyone know if it’s M&S-like (where a 12 is more like a 14), about right, or goes the other way and you need to size up? I’ve lost quite a lot of weight (stress, so not in a good way, sadly) and my clothing-size bearings.

It depends if it’s stretchy base layers or something more structured. Dd has a few Le Mieux bits - with anything stretchy she’s in the smallest size possible (she has the tiniest torso!) but her padded jacket is a size 8 - she has room for a couple of layers if needed underneath but she’s normally a 4 or a 6 so I’d say size slightly up for things like jackets

I'd say it's slightly on the small side. I tried a gilet on and I'm usually a 12 but had to go to a 14 even with only a thin sweater underneath.

Agreed, it's definitely on the small side. I'm glad I tried things on before buying - I'd definitely size up.

I'm a 12-14 and in a large. I find the shoulders in particular are small fitting.

I've only ever bought a couple of things but it's on the small side for me. I bought a size 12 gilet when I'm usually an 8-10.

I have a jacket in a 12 (I'm a 10/12) that I can fit several layers under and it's still not big. Dd has one in her normal size that is skin tight. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of rhyme or reason to it dd9 is wearing anything from age 10 to adults xs

liveforsummer · 09/12/2022 23:14

Still quite big that was meant to say

Thanks so much all! Sorry, should’ve specified it’s jackets/coats. Sizing is so tricky these days, even without factoring in my decreased bulk and the chances of regaining it at some point when stress levels, please god, go down.
