Help! What is this?

Found this in horse poo this morning and have no idea what it is. Any help much appreciated.

Eek.I don’t know. It looks like a fungus, but also fleshy. Can you email a pic to your vet ?

Definitely fleshy, has veins and other stuff. Have sent to vet, but just wondering if anyone has ever seen this before?

It is very strange. Gut lining or from the uterus maybe if your horse is female ? I hope your vet can shed some light on it.

I'd send the photo to your vet - it looks almost like a sarcoid, but I wouldn't expect on in the poo! Most vets will advise on things like that if you email a photo x

Please let us know what you find out - I'm quite fascinated by such things!

Sorry for not updating sooner, have had it looked at, and think it is a stomach polyp. I don’t think will ever know for sure though

Had similar in ddog's poo. It was the remains of the flip flop she had eaten...
