To feed your horses whilst wearing your dressing gown and slippers?

Asking for a friend...

classed as practical in my book.

At the yard next to me, they regularly turned up in onesies mid afternoon 🙈

I wouldn’t wear slippers as an accidental toe treading will be much more painful than if you had proper shoes on.

Don't have horses but have farm animals which can be seen from the road.

Best thing are massive wellies that you can put your slippered feet into. I did choose my dark coloured dressing gown on purpose

I’ve done welly’s and PJs many a time. I’d take the slippers off just for the sake of my feet

Maybe not the smartest thing safety-wise?

You should really have decent, closed shoes from that point of view...

Steel toed Crocs, not slippers. That's alright then?! 😂

As long as the horse is fed it’s absolutely immaterial what you wear .

As long as your feet are shielded by steel toe caps, and you are not entirely naked, I don't think it matters what you're wearing.

I have been known to feed in nightie and wellies. Not slippers though as i valued my toes and my carpet. It's well known that horses only ever bother to stand on you if you're wearing inappropriate footwear...

I had a live in job on a yard, and one of my favourite things to do was to go down on the night for late check in my PJs and welly boots.

Did occasionally catch me out (one colic, one cast pony) though!

Luxury of having ponies at home. Regularly do horses in PJs and trainers or wellies. Do the poo picking on the quad in just a bikini and biker boots when it's hot. That raised some neighbours eye brows!! 😂
