Jodhpur recommendations

Hi. Looking for recommendations for jodhpurs. I am 5’4 and wear size 14 trousers in a stretchy material (e.g. jeggings). My jodhpurs are a bit too tight and a horrible material. I was looking for some recommendations for comfy jodhpurs. Any thoughts on what I should get?

Riding tights seem to be the latest development. Much thinner and lighter (like leggings) but with a grippy seat.

I like riding tights when it's warmer, depending on your budget look for ones with a wide waistband as the cheaper ones tend to dig in as the bands are thinner.

My favourites atm are aubrion ones, with sticky bum seats. Really comfortable and don't slip or dig in. I also have a pair of rydale ones that are comfortable but a bit big so slip a bit.

I love my Ariat breeches

Can't get on with riding tights, the crotch always feels really low/saggy, and I feel less ... 'contained'

Shires for me! Very good quality.

I went to GoOutdoors recently, didn't realise they had an equestrian section, saw a pair of cheap jodhpurs and bought them as spare. They are soooooo comfy. Not sure how long they will last and they don't have a grippy seat, but they are now my go to pair.
