Can anyone recommend some riding boots for everyday riding/hacking?

I use country boots to hack in, comfy, waterproof and warm.

Yes same, or short boots and half chaps

I have Windermere Ariats. Do have some dressage boots, but nothing as comfy and useful as Windermere's

For hacking the Ariat Devon pro short boots plus the matching gaiters are great, really comfy, stylish and you get some really smart short boots to wear on their own too

Mountain Horse Riders are my go-to boots for every day wear. I have fat calves so go for the short boots with half chaps, they're super comfy I've never had problems wearing them in, keep your feet warm but not sweaty, withstand an errant foot and look smart and workmanlike.

I have two sets of boots, for everyday around the yard and hacking I have a pair of Toggi Calgaries, super comfortable, inexpensive and have seemed to go on for ever considering their very heavy use (although a zip did need replacing a few years ago). But they aren't super smart so I do have a leather pair of dublins for lessons and clinics and so forth but I haven't been as impressed with them, they're worn far less often than the Toggis and are already showing much more wear and tear around the soles and heels and so on ... I would recommend looking on ebay for 2nd hand boots though if you know what kind you want, particularly if you want full leather, these are £££ to buy new but there seems a thriving 2nd hand market for very nearly new/barely worn ones, so you can def pick up a bargain!
