Looking for a really lovely embroidered saddlecloth

It's for a little pony we share for my two small children, so looking for pony size, ideally with a diamanté trim or metallic roping, on a really nice quality saddle cloth. A colour between royal and navy blue, so a very dark sort of royal blue would be perfect. DD would love crystals or pearls, or something like that, with pony's name embroidered.

When I was young I remember my mum designing one with base colour and piping etc for a Christmas present. It was a sort of velvet material and looked so nice. I'm not sure if that's the right material for the pony but the ones I've seen online now available for embroidery look really thin, or plain.

If anybody has any recommendations please that would be brilliant!

There are several companies that do embroidered saddle-cloths with a variety of designs. I've bought some lovely ones from Ponies Paradise before - you can look them up on facebook (hope I'm allowed to post this?). They're based in South Wales, very friendly, and have quite a range of ones. They definitely used to do a velvety one, but I'd recommend the poly-cotton as they wash better, and hold their colour, in my experience. They also do really nice jackets. Good luck x
