Working mom daily routine with horses

Hi, just wondered what other peoples daily routines were as working mums with horses / ponies.

School / nursery drop off & pick ups, horses, yard jobs, work etc.

Just to see how people fit it all in.

My horse lives out (no mucking out etc saves lots of time) and I usually get up early and ride before work or before the kids get up at the weekends. It does mean I don’t get as much sleep but I love that space to ride/do my thing so it makes it worth getting up early for. It does help that my children are 14 and 12.

Mine’s full livery and the ménage is mostly busy during the day (professional yard), so I mainly ride the hour before it goes dark.
So in winter - school run, drop DC at home, then ride asap.
In summer I’ll ride in the evening.

Very fortunate that DC are old enough to be left on their own, I work flexibly, and yard is 5 mins from home. I had to wait years until these stars aligned though before I purchased my post-children horse - literally years !
