Riding hat for a child with sensory issues

Hi All,

My seven year old son really enjoys riding, he doesn't do it often at the moment but he's getting to the point where if he wants to do more he needs a proper hat. (Currently we use a cycle helmet)

He's got sensory issues and cannot cope with things going on tight, he does do well with something he can put on loose then tighten, like a cycle helmet.

Does anyone know of any riding hats for kids like this at all/have any experience of them? I've seen some very gaudy pink ones but not much else.

Any advice welcome!!

You can buy riding hats that can be resized to increase or decrease their size. Could put it on lose then tighten it at the back.

Uvex do adjustable children’s riding hats

They come in dark colours as well as glitzy pink!
