Anyone got a Welsh Sec B?

What brand of saddle do you use?
Looking for a very supportive, secure saddle for a spooky pony.
12.2 hh probably looking at 15.5 or 16 inch max.

I have been looking at the adjustable Wintecs but have read reviews saying they are unsuitable for native breeds.
Any recommendations?

We have a 12hh Welsh B X (dam unregistered but think she was an A)
We started with a 15" wintec and the saddler said too long in the back for him and a 14" would be ideal. DD is still tiny so no issues on bum fitting Whilst I was waiting for one to pop up on eBay/marketplace, a discontinued barnsby came on and it's like it was made for him!

Our old section b needed a max 14.5 so we had to go for a wintec but have put thorowgoods on other natives with the blessing of my master saddler. You need an expert to tell you what will work, even the same brand of saddle from different years can fit quite differently.

Would you go second hand?
All of the saddles for my horses and ponies came second hand from a local saddler. She would bring a selection based on the measurements we gave her and we would try them out for best fit. Some were synthetic, some were leather, but all were absolutely bargains.

Get a good saddler out and let them suggest something.
