One of my ponies is going out on loan soon. I wondered if anyone could give me advice on what insurance I need? Do I insure the tack even though it is kept elsewhere? Do I insure for public liability even though pony isn’t with me? Any other insurance type things I haven’t thought of?
I have drawn up loan contract (BHS one) and informed passport issuer (who have sent a form for loaners details) who assure me the microchip cannot be changed whilst he is on loan. I’ve visited the yard several times and checked loaner has rider and public liability insurance. Anything else I need to be aware of? Thanks
