Open or closed side horse float (box)

Hi All,
I am looking at buying a float and just after opinions on open or closed side, I can’t really find much online but after people’s opinions please.
We live in a warm climate that doesn’t see too many cold days of that is any consideration.

I live in the UK. I have back top doors as well as front top door. I leave the back doors open unless it is very cold and or wet. I always keep the top door closed when traveling because I worry about the horse sticking his head out and injuring his head or eyes on trees or bushes. When I am at an event I will sometimes open the top front door if the horse is happy
