Any mums with DCs in pony club here? DD is so happy the stables have reopened!

We have just joined, I am excited! I loved pony club as a kid, my mum was the DC.
I hope we can make camp but looking at their previous dates, I think we will be away- typical.

I waited until DD was sure she would enjoy it and bought her a riding hat, gloves, jodhpurs and boots. Body protector next. DS is also keen but still in group lessons.

We’re at the other end of Pony Club! Dd and her friends are doing one last camp this summer and dd’s taking her AH test as well. She doesn’t do that many rallies now as they’re mainly aimed at the younger ones but she has lessons with the PC instructors. She’s really enjoyed it and has made some good friends, as have I Smile

My eldest did her first mini rally at almost 4 last year, second one in a couple of weeks Smile
Her pony is an actual saint on four legs and loves any occasion, I'm excited to take her as she's coming off the lead rein now and improved loads after just one hour of proper instruction (instead of mummy!) last time.

My two have their first rally this weekend. My eldest has a new pony, she is more forward going that his previous pony (who is now ridden by his brother) so I am prepared to be going between both until she settles.

Eldest was in pony club previously as a tiny tot, but I changed to one that does more and has a higher number of boys taking part regularly (bit of Facebook stalking to see who was at rallies/camp!).

I loved pony club as a kid/teenager, I was heavily involved and have so many happy memories. I am still in touch with many of the friends I made at the time, most now bringing their children to shows etc.

My daughter is! She's doing her Silver 1 and was at a Pony Club day yesterday. I love the badges (more than my daughter Blush ). She's only one mini achievement badge away from getting her Gold one, but is too lazy to complete the work sheets they have asked her to do. Grrr!
