ok so couldn't find a small holders area so thought i would ask this here as other horse owners might too have goats like me.
i have 1 horse and 2 goats. last week, 1 particular goat this time of year becomes horrible. Not to the horse, she isn't that stupid, but too her sister goat. bullies her, head butts, chases and worst she won't let her into their little stable area. I have to tie up the bully to allow the other one in. This is fine in the main stable when they come in at night, but at the moment I am watching the bully stop the other goat from entering their little outdoor shelter. It is snowing and last week i came home to 1 wet goat and 1 dry goat. Goats hate any kind of bad weather and she was all shivery and upset.
She being such a witch. They can get a put funny when they come into heat and thank god that is seasonal and should end soon. She was in heat last week but this time of year when she comes in she is so mean and aggressive to the other goat. Again not to the horse or me. Other than trekking out again into the snow with my toddler in tow, any suggestions as to why she is so horrible this time of year. At this rate, until the weather gets a grip im going to have to keep them in everyday as I can't keep going out to sort out their domestic issues
