How do they get them to stand so still while they are blowing trumpets with a huge group! I’m still working on standing at a junction without pawing a hole in the ground 😂

Practice mainly - they become accustomed to the task

Also ensuring they are not fresh. No idea if that extends to sedatives

When your entire job involves looking after a horse. training it and making it look good, it stands to reason that eventually it will be well trained and look good!
