Insurance for pony

I have personal liability insurance for myself with BHA Gold membership but I need insurance for my new pony. How much do you pay and which are the most competitive insurers. So far I've found quotes between £30 and £110 a month ....but its not just about the money, its about hassle free when the time comes (if it does ) ...

NFU is very well regarded. Not cheap, but they do tend to pay out. You could always ask your vets which ones they would recommend (or not!) :)

NFU without a doubt. You get what you pay for

NFU Mutual has the broadest policy wording.

We have NFU - expensive but the only one my vets will deal direct with. They've paid out a big claim for me this year and I've had no issues with them at all.

I'm with horse-insurance.co.uk and have been for about 10 years. They are under written by e and l who didn't have a great reputation but they have paid out for me 3 times, one of which I didn't expect
