Thinking of loaning...advice?

Thinking of looking for a loan on DIY for my DD, wouldn't be the first. She's been riding since 2010 but need to know of rough costs first, so honestly how much does your DIY loan/own cost monthly? Thanks

Surely roughly the same as your others if it's not the first? Just buy one if you can, loaning is really stressful.

It depends. A good doing pony vs a poorly doing bigger horse. Shod or barefoot. Medication and supplements or not.

Too many variables to generalise.

I loan/share and it costs me approximately £100 per month but that's barefoot and living out. Will totally depend on the horse and the arrangement the owner is looking for.

I share but my friends who own pay anything between 250 - 400 per month on DIY depending on feed, meds etc. One friend pays £650 for full livery.

Full loan I assume and not a share?
Realistically allow £500 pcm
