Slippery Elm for possible ulcers?

I have just ordered 200g of this to try. Pony works really nicely in walk, but begins to toss his head when asked to trot, so I suspect he may have a low grade ulcer. I really don’t want to go down the scoping route unless absolutely necessary so I am giving him a small handful of chaff before riding, and I will also add said slippery elm to his evening chaff. How much should I be giving him per day?

15-20g per day. I've just looked this up as in a similar position.
Hope it helps.
