Sorting my field out. Help...

I have 2 acres with a 13.2 pony and sheep (other horses on 3 sides). I've always keep my field in good condition but due to really crap year of physical and mental health issues and loads of external stresses/time pressure my poo picking went to put. Pony well cared for otherwise but just the basics. I'm now much better and trying to work out what the hell to do to put my field right. We have harrowed quite a few times when dry enough in that time but the grass on the poo patches is weedy and rough. Any ideas ?

Spray for weeds in September.

Start by getting into a poo-picking regime. You should be getting less than a barrow a day with one pony. Get the field cleared completely. Make sure you're doing it at least once every day. If you miss days then its harder to get motivated to catch up.

Yes to poo picking every day. My mare does approx 16-18 poops in 24 hours.
I have to put the poop up onto a trailer so I use a flat trolley barrow with trug buckets on. I use 3-4 buckets and that fits 16-18 poops in.
Hope you are feeling better after your health issues 💐

Also, experience has shown that if you need a field cleared, its better to start at the far end each day and work forward. Then you'll get it a bit clearer each day and have less far to travel with heavy barrow each day. Its much more motivating.
