Road rage and walking in hand.

I have a horse that needs months of road walking post injury. I was out on the road yesterday and had a volley of abuse from someone who couldn’t be bothered to wait two minutes before squeezing past us on a minor country road.

She then found us later on and started up the shouting again- apparently we shouldn’t be on the road.

Disappointingly she turned out to be a local aggressive with a horse of her own, stabled nearby.

As well as venting here, I am quite concerned about coming across her again and want to use my go pro.

Has anyone found a way of doing this without attaching it to a riding hat?

I have reported to the police and BHS too.

You can get a body harness so you have the gopro on your chest.

Ooh, can you? Thanks very much, I will google that.

Or just wear your hat. I might anyway if leading a horse on the road.

Good luck. I hope it works out for you and your horse. Those injuries are a bugger. I took to singing I'm Gonna Be (500 miles) when my horse had a tendon injury.

It feels like a long road ahead Grin

Id wear a hat. With a GoPro on top of it. Drivers will be able to see it more clearly.

No harm in wearing a hat when handling, so I’d put the camera on the hat and depending on what she does next consider going to the police about her.

Many years ago on an HHO discussion about wearing hats while riding another poster asked me why I didn’t wear a hat while handling since we all know horses are equally dangerous on the ground. I didn’t have a good answer so I started wearing my hat. Two weeks later a youngster reared up and landed on my head. He broke my hat but I was fine. I’ve been wearing a hat handling ever since. I haven’t had such a serious accident again but I think I would have been very hurt without the hat so it’s been worth it even for preventing that one injury.
