Stolen pony

My friend has had her pony stolen, will post a link down below with pictures. Just asking for people to keep a look out for this pony.

The person who stole him owns a yard, but is keeping the pony else where, the police believe he will be in a different county. He was stolen from Hertfordshire.

The thief is also saying he has had the dentist check the ponies teeth so if you know an equine dentist it would be worth an ask. He has been gone for over 6 weeks and we can only presume he is in a private stable some where, so if a grey pony appeared suddenly over night or on the wee hours of the morning a while ago it could be him!

Please please keep an eye out.

This is very odd. If the person is know to the police what action are they taking and what are the circumstances of the theft? And the link above isn't working I'm afraid.

Did your friend not pay their yard fees, and the herd owner is keeping the pony in lieu of payment?

DirtyNell · 21/03/2019 14:12

‘Yard owner’

Would love to hear the 'thief's' side of the story!

Sorry late to reply!

No my friend did not "forget" to pay her yard fees. The thief came onto her yard cut the bolts and stole her horse from its stable.

The thief originally had one of my friends ponies on loan which his daughter adored. Due to her outgrowing him, my friend took the pony back. There was a disagreement and they parted ways badly. The ultimate goal of this theft is to switch it for the other pony. And although my friend desperately wants her pony back she doesn't want to switch them.

The police are involved!

What we are asking is if you have seen a grey pony, who may have appeared suddenly! Just to keep an eye out!
