Restoring a saddle—leather curling up

I have an old Western saddle whose flaps are curling up and I want to restore it.

I know I need to oil the flaps on both sides and then weight them down, but I'm not familiar with any of the product brands in the UK—can anyone recommend a good oil/conditioner?

The leather is 'unfinished' on the reverse side (rough texture).

I've been advised not to use neatsfoot oil as it will stain the (light brown) leather.

I use Leather Therapy products, a very good article here
