Kids stirrups?

Any recommendations? I share a 14.3 cob and my DD (5) is keen to have a go. I appreciate that Dhorse is far too big but it is an occasional lead rein ride for fun. Dhorse has adult size tack of course and so I need stirrups/ leathers as a minimum. The existing ones needed rolling up 5 times! and the irons ended up at a funny angle.

I was hoping to pick some up second hand but they seem hard to come. by so looking to pick something (economical) up new. Are composite stirrups any good? Nylon ‘leathers’ or do I need leather? Peacock irons or cradles?

My horse/tack knowledge is now 20 year out of date and I’ve no experience of the best solutions for very young riders.

TIA

Firstly is the owner of your sharehorse happy with this esp from an insurance perspective?
Personally I still swear by peacock stirrups for novices. If it ain’t broke....

Yes, the horses owner is quite happy with this - Dhorse is 20 and bomb proof. Apart from her size shes a perfect lead rein pony!

Cage stirrups are a must for DCs.
